Students showcase innovative products at DUHS exhibition.

KARACHI -- Over 350 innovative projects by students from more than 40 universities were showcased at an exhibition that opened at the Dow University of Health Sciences on Friday.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of 7th All Pakistan DUHS DICE Health Innovation Exhibition 2022, Muhiyuddin Chawla, member of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Association and chief executive officer of a local pharmaceutical company, said the country could be taken forward towards development with the cooperation of industries and educational institutions.

'Educated youth can change the destiny of the country by working hard. There is nothing to be disappointed about. Youngsters should work hard on their projects. Every great work in the world has started on a very small scale,' he observed.

DUHS Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Saeed Quraishy regretted that research and inventions in Pakistan couldn't be turned into marketable products.
