Student shot dead during motorcycle snatching.

RAWALPINDI -- A university student was shot dead during a motorcycle snatching while an alleged robber was killed by, what the police claimed, his accomplice in Saddar area on Monday.

Mohammad Danish, 20, was on his way home from university on his motorcycle when he was intercepted by two persons at Shamsabad. They forced him to give up his motorcycle but he resisted at which the snatchers shot him dead.

A police spokesman said that the city police officer had served a show cause notice on the Sadiqabad SHO over the killing of the student and directed the DSP of New Town Circle to arrest the culprits within the next 24 hours.

In the second incident, Naimat Khan came to a money changer to exchange foreign currency with Pakistani rupees, but the money changer took time to exchange the dollars.
