Strike against power cuts.

MOHMAND -- Traders and shopkeepers went on a shutter down strike to protest the unannounced power outages in Ekkaghund tehsil of Mohmand district here on Wednesday.

All shops and businesses remained closed in the Ekkaghund Baazar.

The shopkeepers said unscheduled power cuts has destroyed their businesses.

They said the electric supply remained suspended most of the time daily and that had been happening for last 22 days.

The residents said 100 illegal factories had been set up in Krapa and Ekkaghund areas with the connivance of Wapda officials.

They said the factories consumed a lot of electricity.
