CANBERRA -- Steve Smith's unbeaten 80-run knock helped Australia defeat Pakistan by seven wickets in the second T20I at Manuka Oval in Canberra on Tuesday. Defending a modest 151-run target, the Pakistani bowlers managed to get rid of two out of three danger men in the former of captain Aaron Finch and David Warner but could not do the same to Smith, who made them pay the price. His risk-free 51-ball innings quashed Pakistan's flailing hopes of triggering a batting collapse as Australia accomplished a task it never felt they wouldn't: win.
