Stay in RLNG conversion case extended.

ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday extended the stay order against forced conversion of twin cities' eateries to Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) and restrained the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) from disconnecting their connections.

IHC Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani resumed hearing on the petition filed by restaurants of the twin cities.

Advocate Imran Shafiq, counsel for All Rawalpindi Restaurants Association, argued before the court that the forced conversion of commercial users from natural gas to RLNG would adversely affect the common man as the rates of eatables would increase manifold with the increase in cost of fuel.
