Special package for small farmers soon: PM Imran.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Imran Khan said Sunday that his government would soon announce a special package for the small farmers in the light of proposals being firmed up by a sub-committee of the federal cabinet.

The Prime Minister stated this while talking to Members of National Assembly (MNAs) from South Punjab, Dir and Swat here. The meeting also discussed in detail the special package for farmers and South Punjab Secretariat.

Speaking to MNAs from South Punjab, Prime Minister said that South Punjab was neglected in the past and its population was not given equal opportunities in education, health and employment.

He said that said the previous governments ignored South Punjab region and discriminated with the people in provision of education, health and employment opportunities.

The meeting which focused on South Punjab Secretariat and farmers' special package was attended by Special Assistant to PM on Political Affairs Malik Amir Dogar and MNAs Aurangzeb Khan Khichi and Nur Muhammad Khan Bhabha.
