THE recent announcement by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to conduct special examinations to fill the leftover posts of the Civil Superior Services has perplexed many aspirants.

The questions bothering the aspirants are: whether the top posting groups like PAS, PSP, FSP, etc., are also included in these examinations; if a candidate appears in the special examinations, will the attempt be counted or not by the FPSC?
