Speakers urge sustainable programs to end sufferings of Thar.

ISLAMKOT -- Elected representatives from Tharparkar, senior government officials and officials of Thar Foundation and Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC) on Friday urged to implement sustainable action programs and schemes in Tharparker to address human development problems and permanently end sufferings of Thar.They were ofthe view that sustainable schemes on saline water for Biosaline Agriculture and fodder and promotion of livestock as a formal industry will pave the way to uplift human development of indicators of Tharparkar.

They were speaking at a concluding ceremony of Thar Fodder Distribution Project (TFDP) Phase-1, jointly completed by Thar Foundation with the support of Livestock and Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh.
