Six more units sealed for Covid-19 code breach.

GUJRAT -- The local administration has sealed at least six more factories for resuming operations without government approval.

The [sealed] units had been making production of raw material for electric fan industry as well as two pottery units in various parts of the city.

Gujrat Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Jameel along with his team and police inspected industrial areas late on Sunday night and found six factories operational without having any permission from the competent authority.

The AC sealed the premises of these units and issued warning to the management and owners to not resume operations without permission otherwise cases against them for violating coronavirus protocol would be lodged with the police followed by arrests.

He said the units had been working without complying with the standard operating procedure (SOP) and violating the lockdown.
