Six killed in clash over land dispute.

KOHAT -- Six people were killed and five others injured over a land dispute in Dheri Banda during an exchange of firing in a house here on Friday.

The incident occurred at 8am when two cousins Adam Khan and Mukhtiar had a brawl after which both started firing at each other. Soon other cousins from adjacent houses also came out and opened fire at each other.

The police gathered information from the severely injured victims and registered an FIR against the groups from both sides at 5pm. The funeral was held at 6pm.

The house in which the firing incident occurred is located between Dheri Banda and Kharmatu in the jurisdiction of Bilitang police station.
