Six killed, 46 injured in three separate road accidents in Punjab.

HAFIZABAD/RAHIM YAR KHAN/MULTAN -- At least six persons were killed and 46 others injured in three road accidents in different areas of Punjab on Saturday.

Five passengers were killed and 25 others injured when a Multan bound coaster collided with a tractor on Gujranwala road near Hafizabad, on Saturday. Rescue 1122 sources said the accident occurred due to fog.

The dead bodies and injured have been shifted to Trauma Centre Hafizabad. Three of the critically injured persons have been shifted to Lahore.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in the accident. He directed the district administration to provide the best medical care to the injured.

Meanwhile one person was killed and seven others were wounded when a van fell into a ravine near Zahir Pir in Rahim Yar Khan district.
