Six hurt as official convoy attacked in Darra.

KOHAT -- A convoy of assistant commissioner of Darra Adamkhel tribal subdivision was attacked by members of Akhorwal tribe, reportedly injuring six Khasadars.

Two vehicles, including that of the official, were also badly damaged, when tribesmen threw stones at the convoy and smashed windscreens of the vehicles.

The mob besieged the assistant commissioner`s vehicle, but some elders ensured his safe exit to Kohat. The protesters were not allowing him to escape and he faced serious threat to his life.
