Siraj sees grave threat to democracy.

LAHORE -- Jamaat-i-Islami Emir Senator Sirajul Haq on Thursday expressed concern over the prevailing conflict among the national institutions, saying the situation has further put in danger the already fragile democracy in the country.

Speaking to journalists after a ceremony at Mansoora, he also criticised the government for committing diplomatic blunders on almost daily basis and putting the Kashmir cause at the back burner.

'The Turkish president and Malaysian prime minister are expressing regret over the attitude of Pakistan. The prime minister made both the leaders angry,' he said.

'The people of Pakistan have great love for the Pakistan Army and don't want to hear a word against the forces,' he said and added that Gen Pervez Musharraf was retired now and himself responsible for the acts he committed as a military ruler. He demanded action against those who allowed the former ruler to go abroad with protocol.
