Sir Syed Institute of Emerging Technology inaugurated.

KARACHI -- Former Governor Sindh, Lt. Gen. (R) Moinuddin Haider inaugurated the Sir Syed Institute of Emerging Technology at Sir Syed Tower by cutting the ribbon. He was the chief guest for the launching ceremony of the institute that will initially begin with Cyber Security course programme and later many other technologies will be introduced. Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys' Association (AMUOBA) organized the event. Speaking on the auspicious occasion, Haider said that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan gave a new direction to the Muslims of the subcontinent. He established a majestic academic institute, Aligarh Muslim University that produced a middle, highly educated class in the society. He said that Sir Syed Institute of Emerging Technology would prove to be an important milestone in imparting technical education among the youth.

'If you want to work sincerely for the service of mankind, you don't require authority or power. We talk too much but practically we deliver nothing,' he further added. Addressing the ceremony, President AMUOBA and Chancellor Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), Jawaid Anwar, said that the present time is the era of technology.
