Sindh's music discussed.

KARACHI -- The programme on Sindh's ethnomusicology organised by the Sindh Abhyas Academy at Szabist at which Ustad Akhtar Dargahi was supposed to speak on the subject was affected by the fact that the speaker couldn't make it to the venue because of the 'Khairpur train derailment' issue.

Dr Ghazala Rahman of the academy told the students who were there, because the talk was part of their classroom lesson, that they received a call from Ustad Dargahi at 5am, telling them he couldn't come. If that was the case, the media outlets to which invitations to the event were sent could have been informed of the same much earlier. Consequently, Dr Rahman said she had put together a presentation for the students as part of their last class of the session.
