THE Sindh health department had an advertisement in Dawn (June 2) inviting 'expression of interest' by experienced vendors to provide oxygen support like oxygen cylinders, flow meters, pulse oxymeters, etc., for home-based patients.
This is an extraordinary initiative by the provincial department to provide oxygen to needy patients at home which will save thousands of lives, especially at a time when cases of coronavirus infections are increasing.
