Sindh govt fails to complete Gulshan hospital.

KARACHI -- The Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) Sindh government has failed to complete the construction work of 400 bedded Sindh Government Hospital Gulshan-e-Iqbal despite passage of 10 years. The hospital project was supposed to complete in the mid 2019, but only 80 per cent work had been done so far due to slackness and negligence of Sindh Works and Services Department. The construction work was started in May 19, 2009 with a cost of Rs 436.356 million and was supposed to be completed in 2012-13, but PC-I of the project was revised on May 15, 2014 again with increased cost of Rs 1736.359 million.
