Sindh govt denies torture on Haleem Sheikh.

KARACHI -- Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the spokesman for Sindh government, along with provincial Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Monday held a press conference in the committee room of the Sindh Assembly building to explain the circumstances leading to the arrest and detention of Leader of the Opposition in the house Haleem Adil Sheikh.

According to a handout issued here on Monday, he advised Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf ministers and other leaders to refrain from attempts to influence court in the matter.
