Sindh governor demands 40% pay raise for govt employees.

KARACHI -- Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has demanded a 40% pay raise for government employees in his letter to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, media reported on Tuesday.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori wrote another letter to CM Murad Ali Shah, demanding a 40% hike in the salaries of government employees. He demanded to fix the salary of each government employee at Rs50,000 per month.

He said that the common man is facing financial hardships due to skyrocketing inflation, whereas, crops were also affected due to recent floods. He further stated that inflation was increased due to fluctuations in demand and supply.

Tessori said that hoarding and inflation worsened the financial condition of the common man, therefore, the government should hike the salaries of the workers.

On Monday, Governor Tessori raised objection on the committee, constituted by Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led Sindh government to regularise goths.
