'Sialkot business community assured of interests protection'.

SIALKOT -- Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Abdul Ghafoor Malik assured

the business community that the Chamber of Commerce would continue to protect their

interests and play its role for the development of Sialkot export industry.

In a press statement issued here on Sunday, he said that on behalf of SCCI platform, "we are making efforts to resolve the problems of Sialkot business community at government level without wasting any time".

Malik said that despite the difficult conditions, efforts were on to remove obstacles in the way of promoting trade and provide business facilities to the SCCI members. "Apart from this, we have actively participated in the efforts made for the development of Sialkot industry, exports and the stability of the economy of our beloved country," he added.

He said that during this short period of five months being as a SCCI President, the Chamber got facilities for its members from the government houses which include: abolition of pre-approval conditions for import of raw materials for the export sector, preferential basis of appointment...
