Shujaat elected PML-Q president unopposed.

LAHORE -- Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was elected the PML-Q president and Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema the secretary general unopposed in the intra-party elections here on Saturday.

According to the PML-Q, the election process that started in October across the country at the tehsil level was completed on Saturday at the Pakistan Muslim League House here.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Kamil Ali Agha were elected unopposed as the party's president and general secretary in Punjab, respectively.

In Sindh, Saeedul Hassan Mandokhel was elected president and S.R. Nasir general secretary.
