Shortage of petrol: PM Imran wants steps taken to provide relief to people.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken stern notice of the artificial shortage of petroleum products and ordered that steps be taken to provide relief to the people.

The prime minister presided over an important meeting on the shortage of petrol in which Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Petroleum Nadeem Babar briefed him on the situation.

They also presented a report on measures taken to overcome the petrol crisis and fines imposed by the OGRA over artificial shortage of petroleum products.
