SHO fined Rs1.2m by jirga after his cook's suicide.

DADU -- A jirga (tribal court) chaired by Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Sardar Rafiq Ahmed Jamali in his guest room here on Sunday ordered station house officer (SHO) of Khudabad police station Syed Imtiaz Shah to pay a fine/compensation of Rs1.2 million to the heirs of his private cook, Shaman Channo, who had committed suicide about two months ago.

Local PPP leader Baban Panhwar assisted MNA Jamali in reaching a conclusion in the matter while Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) district president Sardar Ashiq Zounr and Sindh United Party (SUP) secretary general Roshan Ali Buriro pleaded the case of the deceased Shaman Channo.

MNA Jamali ordered the SHO to pay a fine/compensation of Rs1.2 million to the family of the deceased.
