Sherpao questions 'logic' behind PTI's long march.

CHARSADDA -- Qaumi Watan Party Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao here on Saturday questioned the logic behind Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's long march towards Islamabad while reiterating the stance of Pakistan Democratic Movement that next general elections would be held after the present government completed its tenure.

'What does the PTI want to achieve through this march? If they want elections, these would be held after this government completes the remaining tenure,' he declared while speaking at a press conference in Tangi tehsil of Charsadda.

Mr Sherpao elaborated that there was a procedure written in the Constitution for removal of a government so the PTI should better follow it instead of creating anarchy by holding its so-called long march.

On this occasion, PTI workers, including tehsil council member Musarrat Bibi, Alamzeb Khan, Meraj Khan and others, joined QWP along with their supporters.

The QWP leader claimed that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was trying to make the appointment of the army chief controversial. He urged the coalition government to build a narrative to counter Imran's propaganda and tell the nation about his 'nefarious designs'.
