Sherpao flays attack on Kabul hospital.

PESHAWAR -- Qaumi Watan Party chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao on Tuesday condemned the attack on a hospital in Kabul, and the suicide bombing at a funeral in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province.

'I am deeply shocked by the attack on maternity hospital in Kabul and earlier on a funeral prayer in Nangarhar killing numerous people, including women and children. Such ghastly acts have added to the suffering of Afghan people and will not help the ongoing peace process,' the QWP chief said in a statement issued here.

Expressing his deep sorrow and grief over the loss of previous lives in the twin attacks, Mr Sherpao said the violence had taken a huge toll on the ordinary Afghans and it could sabotage the peace process to bring stability to the war-torn country...
