Shehbaz Sharif leaves for Saudi Arabia on three-day official visit.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif left for Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit to the Kingdom on Thursday.

13-member delegation comprising of Foreign Minister Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Miftah Ismail Ahmed, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Anti-Narcotics Nawabzada Shahzain Khna Bugti, Federal Minister and Chairman CPEC Authority Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, MQM-Pakistan Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, MNA Mohin Dawar and others is accompanying PM Shehbaz Sharif during Saudi Arabian visit.

The Prime Minister has embarked on his first visit abroad after assuming the Office earlier this month on the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation including key members of the Cabinet.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will have bilateral interaction with Saudi leadership, with particular focus on advancing economic, trade and investment ties and creation of greater opportunities for the Pakistani workforce in Saudi Arabia. The two sides will also exchange views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said he looked forward to his meeting with the leadership of Saudi Arabia in a bid to review the multifaceted bilateral cooperation and taking the special relationship to new heights.

In a special video message prior to leaving for Saudi Arabia on a three-day visit, Shehbaz Sharif expressed pleasure that after assuming his office, Saudi Arabia was the first country of his maiden visit.
