Shehbaz Sharif demands 10pc raise in salaries of govt employees.

LAHORE -- Opposition leader in the National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif has demanded of the Punjab government to give at least 10 percent raise in salaries of the government employees.

He said that the government decision to not raise salaries, especially of the low-scale employees is an unacceptable decision.

According to media reports, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif, in his response to budget presented by the federal government, said that PML-N, during its tenure had raised salaries of the government employees and provided them housing allowance and other benefits.
