Shehbaz demands at least 10% increase in salaries of govt employees.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has demanded at least 10 percent increase in salaries of government employees and said that government's decision to not raise salaries especially of lower scale employees is totally unacceptable.

Shehbaz Sharif, in his response to budget presented by the government, said that PML-N, during its tenure raised salaries of the government employees and provided them housing allowance and other benefits.

He further said that inflation has crossed all limits and health expenditure has also increased, so not increasing salaries of government employees in these circumstances is injustice.
