Sharifs made huge corruption under cover of Chaudhry Sugar Mills: Haleem Adil.

Karachi -- Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are masters of fake bank accounts. Chaudhry Sugar Mills is an example of huge corruption of Sharifs, where 45% shareholding was hidden in the name of foreigners, said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Vice President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, here Sunday.

Addressing an important press conference at Insaf House here, flanked by PTI MPA Dr Saeed Afridi, Faheem Khan and others, he said the Chaudhry Sugar Mills is a textbook example of corruption of Sharifs, and there are at least 10 major instances of money injection in this mills through corrupt practices from 1992 to 2018 through fake loans and fake TTs. He said Rs. 550 million were taken as kickbacks from Islamabad airport project in 2017 and injected into the Chaudhry Sugar Mills. He said Sharif family also hid 45% shareholding of Chaudhry Sugar Mills Ltd in the name of foreigners

He said the present value of Chaudhry Sugar Mills is Rs6.5billion, but when it was purchased by the Sharif family in 1992, Mian Nawaz Sharif had shown his assets as Rs1.3mn. He said there were 20percent shares of Mian Siraj family who was made director and he was expelled in June 1992 for fraud, for which FIA inquiry number 53/96 was registered and this case was closed by Nawaz Sharif.

Haleem Adil said Sharif brothers made corruption in the name of fake loans and invested money in Chaudhry sugar mills. He said money laundering funds were sent to UAE and again invested in Chaudhry sugar mills as foreign investment. He said Zardari and Nawaz are experts of fake accounts.

Haleem Adil said in 2017 the kickback money of New Islamabad Airport was invested in Chaudhry sugar mills. He said from 1992 to 2019 Nawaz Sharif showed corruption money of more than 10 fake loans as foreign investment and put this money in Chaudhry sugar mills. He said in 1991 Ishaq Dar made a foreign company in London with the help of Faisal Bank, and showed that plant and machinery of Chaudhry sugar mills were imported for foreign loan of $15million, while this plant and machinery were bought from market at Rs398mn through a local loan. He said some $20mn was transferred to Chaudhry sugar mills without machinery and foreign loan. He said later Ishaq Dar closed down in foreign company.

He said state bank of Pakistan got this money transferred due to influence of Nawaz Sharif. He said including the foreign company of Ishaq Dar 10 other companies were made for money...
