Shangla house fire kills two children.

SHANGLA -- Two children were killed in a house fire in Martung tehsil here on Friday.

A police official said Shafiullah, 7, and his cousin, Awais, 10, set grass in the cattle pen of their wooden house in Alogay area on fire, which engulfed the premises causing their death.

He, however, said other family members and cattle remained unharmed.

The official said the family spotted the charred bodies only after putting out the fire.

Meanwhile, a massive landslide hit a house in Lilownai area of Alpuri tehsil here on Friday after heavy downpour.

However, no damage to public life was reported.
