Shamoon Abbasi's Durj cleared for release in Pakistan.

Actor-producer Shamoon Abbasi's film Durj may yet be released in Pakistan as it received a clearance from a full board review of the Central Board of Film Censors. The film is now cleared to be released in all parts of Pakistan.

The Durj team shared the news on Facebook and thanked the censor board for its 'immense cooperation in the matter and for making #DURJ accessible to the people of Pakistan'.

Danyal Gilani, chairman of the Central Board of Film Censors, confirmed to Images the film was cleared in the full board review, with some excisions.

Earlier this month, Abbasi revealed that Durj was initially cleared by film censor boards in Punjab and Sindh but rejected by the federal censor board, resulting in those two clearances being revoked and those from remaining provinces...
