Shaheen Afridi unhappy with dropped catches on Day 1.

Mount Maunganui: Shaheen Shah Afridi believes dropped catches on Day 1 of the opening Test against New Zealand hurt them a lot.

Shaheen, who took two early wickets to put Pakistan in driving seat, said with this type of fielding, they can't win matches. 'We dropped a couple of catches and it really hurt us. You have to take catches to win matches. Our fielding was poor today, we need to improve it,' he said.

'Tomorrow, we will try to take early wickets to put pressure back on them and make our position strong,' he added.
