Shahbaz, Hamza could not be indicted in Ramzan Sugar Mills case once again.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Muhammad Hamza Shahbaz Sharif could not be indicted in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case once again on Wednesday.

Judge Amjad Nazeer Chaudhry of an accountability court heard the Ramazan Sugar Mill case while Hamza Shahbaz appeared before the court and his father Shahbaz Sharif could not appear before the court despite the court orders.

The counsel of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shabaz, Amjad Pervez Advocate filed a pardoning petition for not appearing before the court while he informed the court that he has remained a cancer patient in past and he still has symptoms of the coronavirus.

To which, the court remarked that 'the coronavirus turns negative within three weeks while Shahbaz is not on ventilator nor admitted in hospital and principally he should have appeared before the court adding that he should appear before the court for just two minutes so that the trial could be initiated.'
