Seven-year-old missing girl found murdered after being raped.

KARACHI -- A minor girl, who went missing two days ago while playing outside her uncle's home in Landhi, was found murdered on Friday and an autopsy confirmed she was raped before being killed, police and hospital officials said.

They added that the body of the seven-year-old girl was found from a plot being used as a garbage dump near Mengal School, Muslimabad Colony, Landhi, within the remit of the Quaidabad police station.

Malir SSP Irfan Bahadur said the girl went missing on Nov 16 and she was found murdered on Friday. The body was moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a post-mortem examination.

Quoting victim's parents, Police Surgeon Summaiya Syed said that a boy, from the roof of his house, spotted the body lying on the garbage dumped on the empty plot, which only has a boundary wall. She said it appeared that the body was thrown at the plot with the help of a ladder as it had no entrance.
