Seven police officers promoted as SP.

PESHAWAR -- Seven police officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were promoted as the superintendent of police on Monday.

The promotions come following their approval by the police's departmental promotion committee during a meeting chaired by provincial police chief Dr Sanaullah Abbasi.

A statement issued here said the board discussed the promotion cases of several deputy superintendents of police and approved the promotion of DSPs Bakht Zada, Amjad Ali, Asif Javed, Amanullah, Tariq Mehmood, Ejaz Ahmad and Abdus Sattar as SPs.

Dr Abbasi said all police officers and personnel would be provided with equal opportunities of promotion.

'No one will be deprived of due rights so that all officials can serve the nation with more dedication and professional zeal and spirit,' he said.
