Seven die in road accidents during Eid holidays.

KARACHI -- Rash and negligent driving on Eid holidays claimed lives of eight people and injuries to 39 others, including women and children, police and rescue services officials said on Thursday.

Most of the victims were bike-riders. DIG Traffic, Dr Maqsood Ahmed said, pointing out that the tragic accidents appeared to be outcome of bike and car racing.

An Edhi Foundation spokesperson said that a young bike-riders was on his way to Malir Cantonment from Motorway when an unknown vehicle knocked him down. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The victim was yet to be identified.
