Seven dengue suspects emerge in Taxila, Wah.

TAXILA -- Seven dengue fever suspects have emerged in Taxila and Wah, hospital sources said on Tuesday.

According to sources, Taxila Tehsil Headquarters Hospital registered four suspects while Wah General Hospital received three.

The health authorities had identified 97 hotspots in the city, including water reservoirs and marshy areas, but failed to fumigate them.

It has been learnt that due to collapsed sewerage and sanitation system in Taxila, there are several locations where stagnant water accumulates on roadsides and streets.

This makes such areas breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
