Sensitive Agency Takes Custody of Four Additional 'Rioters' in Connection with May 9 Events.

FAISALABAD -- An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Faisalabad has granted custody of four more individuals to a sensitive agency for their alleged involvement in the attack on an office of national importance on May 9. The suspects will now face trial under the Pakistan Army Act, as reported by the media.

The four individuals were apprehended by an army team from the central jail and will be prosecuted under the Army Act and Official Secrets Act for their participation in the acts of vandalism and arson at the sensitive installation. The case against them, originally filed at the Civil Lines police station, will now be transferred to the jurisdiction of the Army Act.
