Senior PPP leaders at odds over party tickets issue.

DADU -- Differences came to the fore between provincial minister Jam Khan Shoro and Senator Maula Bux Chandio over distribution of tickets among proposed party candidates for the seats of councillors, chairman and vice chairman of Qasimabad town committee and union councils in the second phase of local bodies elections.

The two leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party objected to each other's lists of candidates they submitted to PPP women wing president MPA Faryal Talpur who chaired a meeting for the purpose in Nawabshah on Sunday. Senior leaders of PPP Hyderabad district Sagheer Qureshi and Ali Mohammad Sahito also attended the meeting.

Ms Talpur formed a committee headed by PPP Nawabshah division president Zia ul Hassan Lanjar to settle differences between Mr Shoro and Mr Chandio and wrapped up the meeting without finalising the names of the candidates for Qasimabad town committee and union councils.
