Karachi -- Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar has said that in all societies senior citizens are given due respect and rights and our religion Islam has bestowed much rights to elderly and differently abled people, and being a Muslim and member of civilized society we should pay due respect and give rights to senior citizens and differently abled people. This he said as a chief guest here in a seminar, arranged by Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) with collaboration of HelpAge International and National Disability and Development Forum, on Policy Dialogue for the Immediate Implementation of Sindh Senior Citizens Welfare Act 2014 and Rules of Business on Sindh Disability Act 2018, to raise the demand of implementation of the Act in its real spirit, here at a local hotel on Friday.
