Senator Sirajul Haq demands removal of Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee for issuing a derogatory statement against Gilani.

LAHORE -- Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Senator Sirajul Haq has demanded removal of Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir Chairman Shehryar Khan Afridi for issuing a derogatory statement against Kashmiri Huryat leader Syed Ali Gilani.

'Syed Ali Gilani has the right to question the recent agreement between DGMOs of Pakistan and India. The Kashmir Committee chairman instead of answering the query released insulting statement against the senior Kashmiri leader,' Senator Sirajul Haq said in a statement issued from Mansoora on Wednesday.

Senator Sirajul Haq said the government statement was tantamount to damage the unity of Kashmiri leaders and Kashmir cause and called for the removal of Mr Afridi to decrease the intensity of loss.
