Seminar on International Initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan: Global and Regional Successes Organized by Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies.

Center for Central Asia and Eurasian Studies, an initiative of Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPD), organized a seminar on International Initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan: Global and Regional Successes where in Mr. Ehsan ullah Tiwana, Chairman Standing Committee of Parliament on Foreign Affairs, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The seminar brought together top management and employees of the Institute, representatives of Pakistan's Foreign Office, Diplomatic Corps accredited to Islamabad, and ones of local expert and media community.

While speaking on the occasion Mr. Ehsan Ullah said that both Pakistan and Kazakhstan wish for peace and stability in Afghanistan and Pakistan support Kazakhstan's role in world peace and stability. Pakistan and Kazakhstan share commonalities of interest and having deep rooted historical relations wherein Pakistan always appreciate the peace and development efforts of Kazakhstan at regional and global level.

Ms. Farhat Asif, founder President of IPD presented the vision of HE Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan what he took to foster regional and global peace and stability. She stressed that under the leadership of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev the country reached an impressive success both in its development and foreign policy. She added in this regard that it became largely possible because Kazakhstan had its own vision of development in the long-run. She has also shared with the house about various presidential initiatives towards global peace including creation of Global Anti-Terrorist Coalition to make world free of terrorism and extremism.
