Seminar on Boao Forum for Asia and China's Growing Prospects in the World.

Center for Belt and Road Initiative and China Studies- Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, organized a seminar on "Boao Forum for Asia and China's Growing Prospects in the World" on Tuesday highlighting the importance of regional connectivity and cooperation in trade, culture among the countries of Asia and beyond.

Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce Shanza Gulzar Khan was the chief guest on the occasion, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of China while Zhao Lijian was the keynote speaker on the occasion. Director Chinese Study Center, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, NUST, Ambassador (R) Syed Hasan Javed, HOD Humanities and Social Sciences Bahria University, Dr Azhar Ahmad, constituted the panel of other distinguished speakers.

In his keynote address, Zhao Lijian said China premier Li shared his vision of the country in Boao Forum China 2019. The forum held on March 28, 2019. Zhao Lijian was of the view that China was "promoting economic growth, improving people's livelihood, establishing fair, transparent, and predictable business environment and regional integration" and last but not the least China is creating new patterns of innovative development to strengthen cooperation in innovation" which is a common goal for all Asian countries".

Ms Shanza Gulzar Khan said the world was facing 4th industrial revolution and "it is the critical time...
