Security clearance of KP police personnel launched.

PESHAWAR -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police have launched a drive to carry out security clearance of all KP police personnel from BS-1 to BS-17 (both executive and ministerial staff) to avert any unwarranted situation. In this regard, 'Police Security Clearance Form' has been launched for security clearance of the personnel. According to KP police department press release, due to ongoing war against terror, security clearance of police personnel had become of vital importance.

The department developed a special software under which a police security clearance form covering all details about police official was prepared to achieve this goal. The police have so far computerised data of 75, 238 employees under the new system duly prepared and endorsed by supervisor officer at district level. Peshawar police computerised 18, 328, Swat 7, 818, Mardan 4, 818, DIKhan 4, 082.
