SCCI demands land record computerisation.

PESHAWAR -- The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has demanded computerisation of land record in order to ensure transparency in the allotment process.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, SCCI president Eng Maqsood Anwar Pervaiz said the people faced enormous difficulties in transferring properties in presence of primitive patwar system.

He said the successive governments had never paid serious attention to the issue, adding the element of corruption and nepotism in the existing patwar system is negating the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan for a corruption-free Pakistan.
