Scandalous tapes conspiracy to blackmail NAB chief: Palijo.

HYDERABAD -- Qaumi Awami Tehreek president Ayaz Latif Palijo has said the scandalous tape leaked by TV channels purportedly showing National Accountability Bureau chairman with a woman is part of a conspiracy to blackmail the anti-graft body's head.

Mr Palijo said in a statement issued on Sunday that action against the corrupt should be across the board and they all should be held accountable without exception. No one was above the law, he stressed.

He said that Sindh was badly hit by corruption but unfortunately those who were literally kings of corruption were alwAays provided relief and were never caught. The Annual Plan CoorAdAination Committee had stuck off 36 development scheAmes of Sindh, which would have generated jobs as well, he said and sought explanation from federal government in this regard.
