SC upholds PHC decision in speical pay scale case of NB employees.

ISLAMABAD -- Supreme Court (SC) while upholding Peshawar High Court (PHC) decision in the case pertaining to special pay scale of National Bank (NB) employees has rejected NB appeal plea.

The court has issued orders for taking action against the Board officers who had allowed special pay scales.

Two members bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmad took up the case for hearing Friday.

The counsel for NB argued during the hearing of the case that due to PHC decision additional financial burden of Rs16 billion will be shifted to bank.
