SC stops administration from demolishing lawyers' chambers in Islamabad Kutchery.

ISLAMABAD -- The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday stopped the administration from demolishing lawyers' chambers in Islamabad Kutchery and issued notices to the attorney general and the Islamabad advocate general to not take any action till the next hearing.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the appeal against demolition of the illegal chambers of lawyers. The CJP stressed that the court will not take its decision under any pressure. He also reprimanded the lawyers over their misbehavior.
