SBP announces 6 days working week, revised timings.

KARACHI -- In pursuance of the decision by Federal Government, State Bank of Pakistan will observe six days working week and has revised office timings. These timings will be applicable during the month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, which will be followed by all other banks and Development Finance Institutions and Microfinance Banks as well, said SBP release on Wednesday.

Monday to Thursday and Saturday the banks will function from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m with prayer break from 1:00 p.m to 1:30 p.m. On Fridays office hours will...
