Saud Shakeel, Rohail Nazir to captain Pakistan squads against MCC.

24-year-old Saud Shakeel will lead Pakistan Shaheen against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in a one-off 50-over fixture in Lahore.

According to the details, the MCC squad led by former Sri Lankan wicket-keeper batsman Kumar Sangakkara will tour Lahore from February 13 to 19. They will play a 50-over game each with Pakistan Shaheen and Northern captained by Rohail Nazeer, meanwhile, also plays Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars in a T20 game each.

Saud and Rohail have been given this golden opportunity following their contribution at the junior level. Saud has recently led the Pakistan U23 team to Emerging Asia Cup title while Rohail is leading the junior team in U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa.

PCB's CEO Wasim Khan believes that MCC's tour to Pakistan will mark their untiring efforts to revive high-profile cricket in Pakistan.
